Overview

Genuine AC Delco transmission fluid temperature sensor for GM 4L60E applications. This sensor monitors ATF temperature and sends data to the PCM and TCM to adjust shift strategies, line pressure, and TCC operation based on fluid temperature.

Accurate temperature data is essential for protecting the transmission from heat damage.

Transmission overheating is the number one cause of premature transmission failure. A properly functioning temperature sensor allows the PCM to activate cooling strategies and warn the driver of dangerously high fluid temperatures before damage occurs.
