10L80 transmission parts for 2017+ GM half-ton trucks and SUVs. The 10L80 is GM's 10-speed automatic, co-developed with Ford, used in Silverado/Sierra 1500, Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, and Cadillac Escalade behind 5.3L and 6.2L gas engines.

The 10-speed brings closer gear ratios, better fuel economy, and quicker acceleration than the outgoing 8L90, but adds complexity in the valve body and control module. Known issues include early-life shift learning quirks, occasional TCM software updates needed, and Dexron ULV fluid sensitivity.
